Okay........so I really hurt my back on Friday. I am so ridiculous sometimes. After Joshua's soccer game Jeremy & I were playing with the kids on the playground. Joshua and I were running around this spinning apparatus needless to say I fell off. Apparently this is dangerous pastime on the playground. So I'm now wondering why it's on an elementary school play yard????? I want to thank my adorable husband and 3 wonderful children for taking care of me all weekend and for picking up things on the floor that are hard for me to bend over and reach. Makes me very grateful for a healthy strong body. This injury is going to take time to heal.

Brain/wall damage

I am starting to worry that Owen may not make it to his next birthday alive. The other night Joshua and Owen were playing. Joshua was throwing Owen onto his pillow in his "big boy bed". Owen would crawl back to brother and Joshua would throw him again. They did this over and over and over until I heard a humongous thud and immediate screaming from Owen. I ran from Aubrey's room to the boys room and I saw Owen rubbing his head and crying hysterically with a huge hole in the wall. Apparently Owen missed the pillow and hit the wall instead. Poor boy. Then the next day he sprayed perfume in his eyes and I had to call poison control. Never a dull moment in the Sewell household.

Spring Break

We are finally healthy again......yay!!! We are packing up to go to New Mexico tomorrow for a long weekend. I pray we survive Owen. He does the car thing for about 6 hours and then after that he screams for the remainder and our trip is 8 hours. Not pleasant when you are trapped in a car with him. You'd think the tv/dvd would hold his attention longer.
Joshua and Aubrey are sooooooooooo excited to see Grandma and Grandpa and of coarse their cousins. Pray we survive the drive. Other than the drive it will be wonderful.

Okay.....We as a family have been sick for 2 months now.....really????? Colds, flus, sinus infections, croup, congestion, MRSA, malaria.....okay..... not really malaria. But, really..... how much sickness can a family of 5 get in 2 months? I actually don't want to know the answer to this question.

But the good new is Aubrey got her cast off of her broken arm a few weeks ago, and she is good to go. Joshua was home sick today from school with, you got it, a bad cold/flu. Owen, Owen, Owen.....he's like a machine. He doesn't need much sleep, or food (because he's 2) and he thinks he is as able, as his 9 yr old big brother and his 6 yr old big sister. He didn't fall asleep until after 11:00pm last night and was up at 8:15am. I found him asleep on my bedroom floor in front of cartoons at 10:00am he didn't make it very long. He's a crack up!

Joshua and Owen helped me restain the picnic table today. It was fun - but of course I'm not sure if I'm loving the stain color so we may be staining again next week. The boys were so cute and helpful. Aubrey played with her best friend Aubrianna most of the afternoon and evening, she even stayed for dinner.

Well, I'm off to bed. More soon.

Aubrey broke her arm!!!! So sad:( Last night we got a new computer desk, Jeremy and Papa Goddard were setting it up down stairs. Joshua & Aubrey ran down stairs to see it and Aubrey slipped and fell half way down. She is in a temporary cast until the swelling goes down (2-3 days) then she'll get her permanent one. She's already trying to decide what color cast she'll choose. Last night was a rough time for her, but today she is doing great!!!!

Sewell family's first blog.

I'm finally starting a blog for the Sewell Family. Should be fun to document our family's adventures. Wife and mother of 3, I rarely encounter a dull moment. I am in love with my family. I know I'm bias but, I believe I have the greatest family ever.
